7 months in. Where has the time gone. I know I keep writing it, but maybe one of these days it will actually set in that time is just flying past.
Hard to believe. But as I looked at Audra in my mom's arms tonight, I thought, wow, she has gotten so big. I carry her around all day (and most nights too) so I don't realize how big she has actually grown. Triple her birth weight in 6 months, that's a crazy fact.
She has such big smiles, and such a huge voice. She loves hearing the sound of her own voice. Or when she knows the attention isn't on her, she seems to be a little louder!
She gives hugs and cuddles when she's tired, otherwise she is always on the go. She isn't crawling (don't think she actually will ever crawl), but loves to stand and jolly jump. Walking will be here before we know it.
She loves to eat, and like her father, ice cream seems to be her favourite food! It's not something she gets very often, I already have one ice cream monster, don't need two!
Her little chubby legs keep growing, the little tuft, or comb over of hair, is finally starting to grow in, and her little pierced ears are so cute.
I watch her laying and sleeping beside me, yes, still in the bassinet, and I think, don't grow, stay the way you are! But that isn't happening, so I just smile when she is crying and not settling down, and try and remember the cute little sleeping monkey. It works somedays!
