These two little crazy smiles just had to be posted. I am having some issues uploading more photos, so may need to add pictures to this post when I figure it all out. But wanted to get to Month Two before it got to late in the month.
Oh Miss Eleanor Joy, you are so cute and so crazy all at once. You are so alert and it amazes me how little sleep you get somedays. You have quite the fussy periods and we are working to help you get through them. Think you have some acid reflux issues and finally have some medicine to hopefully help your little tummy out. We're doing what we can to make you more comfortable, and in turn, help us out a little bit too. Somedays it's rough on both of us, and the lack of sleep isn't always easy, but you are so darn cute, it makes it all worth it in the end.
Your smiles are so big and so full. You smile when you're sleepy and occasionally when you're sleeping a random smile appears and lights up your face. You can be such a happy baby. You sit on the counter in your bumbo and watch me cook or do dishes. You are very intrigued with mobiles and things moving. The swing is a life saver somedays. You love the noise and you watch those fish moving around and around. You will fall asleep in my arms in various holds. You can be bounced to sleep and it makes me laugh when that happens. How me bouncing on the yoga ball with you in my lap puts you out, I don't understand.
You are the apple of your dad's eye. It is so sweet to see him with you. His face lights up when he comes home to all his girls. Even if you are fast asleep, he makes sure you get a kiss in his rounds.
You are growing so big already. This is such a short stage that I am trying to savour all the moments, sleep or no sleep. You have outgrown all the preemie, little teeny tiny clothes. You are fitting into things that it took your sister so long to grow into. At your two month check up, you were 10lbs2oz. Almost doubling your body weight in just two months. You still have stunning blue eyes, can't wait to see if they will stay that way. The massive amounts of hair on your head are still a golden-y red. Will you end up like your grandfather and great-grandfather?
Oh my little bug, it's hard to believe that two months have flown by already. Looking at your sister, I know time will fly. Wish we could slow down time, but that won't happen. So I'll treasure each day with you, and hope that we will figure everything out, make you comfortable, and maybe one of these days you will decide you like sleep!
