Crickets

Wow, the crickets have certainly been chirping around here trying to fill the silence.

February passed in a blur, as is the case with most months now. I blink and the month is done.
February was a long month though. The lack of sleep is really taking its toll on me.  The days are really long when you have a 4 month old who doesn't sleep well during the day and definitely doesn't sleep well during the night. No amount of reading different sleep books, sleep training methods, cry it out methods seem to work. Here's hoping our pediatrician appointment sheds some light on this situation known as fussy Eleanor-itis.

And because that fussy child can't be the only pain in this momma's side, I have a toddler (is she still a toddler at 3?) who is refusing to be a big girl and use the potty. Some days shes great, but some days are so frustrating. She is so smart in most aspects, but why neither of us can wrap our heads around this, I don't get it. Certainly makes our days challenging.

I love these two girls with all my heart, but some days, I tell ya, they drive me bonkers. It's a struggle just staying sane sometimes.

So I take cute pictures, try to smile lots, and remember they won't be small forever. (some of my favourite shots from the month)
