October

October, hmmmm, was certainly a long time ago. What happened and what did we do?
Well there was thanksgiving, Eleanor's first.

Jamie celebrated another birthday, and of course we got him an ice cream cake (or log if you will)

Pumpkin carving for Audra and Dad. She loves helping out and creating.

We went and saw the halloween parade at school, (and I can't find those pictures). Afterwards, we did crafts and made the 5 little pumpkins, which they then acted out for all the parents. This is Audra helping to tell the story.
My little unicorn and cupcake. Audra had a blast trick or treating. Eleanor was tired and fussy so stayed home with Mom and Maureen, while Audra, Jamie, Cam, Jenna and Logan went out. Audra kept up with the big kids no problem and really didn't want to come in. Like father like daughter I suppose. Who doesn't love candy?
The Rockton Fair, our annual tradition. (yes this post should be closer to the top of the page, as it was around Thanksgiving wknd, but at least it's included)
The corn tables. Every kid loves these! We met Leslie, Dave and Amelia at the fair and everyone had a great time.

 These two are soo cute!

Audra's first merry go round. I wasn't sure how she would react, so made Jamie take her. Clearly he is having tons of fun. lol. Audra on the other hand, had a blast.
The girls rode the train ride, look at Audra's smile. Loving it.
The very overpriced duck game, but hey, at this point, we can get away with only having to do one game, so we'll take it.
Just in case you wondered where Eleanor was. She wasn't walking at this point yet, and I thought putting her in a sandbox filled with corn, might not be the best idea for someone who puts everything in her mouth!

This poor monkey ended up with the hand, foot and mouth infection. She was a trooper though. We spent a few evenings at McMaster hospital. They thought it was impegato at first, but then later diagnosed with the other. Bad rash on her little face and hands. Nowhere else though thankgoodness.

Starting to clear up, but you can see the rash around her face.

October was busy. I went back to work at Starbucks. I worked two weeks out in Cambridge, getting re-immersed. Then started at my current store of Burlington Indigo. It's a different vibe and has it's challenges, but the hours are good and let me drop the girls off at the bus and daycare. It's a bit of a rush getting home and getting dinner on, as I usually don't get off til 5 or 530, but we have figured out some routines.
Eleanor started going to daycare more often, and she loves Kristin. Audra still likes going to school, and has lots of fun. The stuff she is learning at 4, amazes us daily.
