Rockton Fair

We only got to one fair this year. As opposed to three last year. Ah, the joys of mat leave.

Thought we'd stay close to home and visit the Rockton fair.

It's small enough, but still has lots to see and do. Audra, of course, was in heaven with all the real animals. She loved the moo-cows, and making baaa noises to the sheep. Had to watch that no hands went into the various chicken and duck cages. The big turkeys did scare her though, and she backed up pretty quick in seeing the peacocks. Much prefers the smaller birds.
This was the only animal picture I got where you can see the animal and not a little blurry miss jumping around. She was very excited to see the animals. It was so cute.

And all kids love the corn sand box. It is filled with corn kernels that act as the "sand" in the sand box. Audra loved it. Pretty much no kernels made it to the bucket with the shovel, so she decided to use her hands. She's a riot!
I love being able to take her to see the animals. It's great to see how she knows what they are even though she's only see some of them in pictures.
