Menu Planning Monday-Nov 1st

Another week, another Monday, another menu.
With Jamie on vacation, it is going to be a low key kinda week. Some work around the house, a few outings and some family time.

This week we are going to have:
Monday: dinner at the Miller's for Jamie's bday
Tuesday: Tuscan bean soup and stuffing egg quiche
Wednesday: meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Thursday: slow cooker beef stew
Friday: slow cooker chilli and cornbread
Saturday: dinner out with friends
Sunday: leftover day!

Yum. A good week. Going to make some big batches of soup and start freezing. It's getting to be that time of year where I start stocking up the freezer with soup and easy meals. Lots of sauces, and the slow cooker starts to make regular appearances on the counter. I think the bread machine will also be making some appearances.

Menu Planning Monday, well Tuesday...

A bit late on this post. Last week's menu was a good menu. The timpano was great. We had a great birthday dinner on Saturday for Diane, chinese food and family times. Sunday we had Diane and Gram over for beef strognaff, which turned out great-thanks slow cooker!

This week, an easy menu.

Monday: was leftovers
Tuesday: chix tenders and sweet potato fries
Wednesday: supper dish
Thursday: birthday dinner out with Jamie & Audra
Friday: talipia and scalloped potatoes
Saturday: spaghet and meatballs
Sunday: birthday dinner at the Millers-mmm chilli

A nice easy peasy menu. Not tons of groceries have to be bought, just all the usual suspects, fruit and veggies. That's the bonus of having a baby eating real foods now, we want her to eat healthy, so as a result, we do too.
