Mmmm...timpano.All those wonderful ingredients wrapped in dough and baked to perfection. Well, somewhat perfection. Timpano, as the name suggests is drum shaped. I didn't have a drum shape container to bake it in, so I had to use a 50 pan, square pan, and the dish turned out, but I really understand the need for a round dish. I think it would have stayed together a bit better if it was done in round form, but that's what cooking is all about. Trial and error.
It was a great anniversary meal and we were eating leftovers for days.
Next time, a round dish, maybe some more cheese too to hold it all together.
