After a week of being sick, it was time to get out the house and run around. The perfect place was Frootogos farm in Waterdown. It's where we apple pick and will probably get our pumpkin this year. They open the farm beginning of August to the public. They have revamped their play place, and the huge space is enclosed, so perfect for entertaining kids, but gimpy ankled-pregnant people don't need to run and chase. A win win!
They have chickens, bunnies and goats to see.
Bouncy horses that were a hit with both girls.
So many things to play with. I should have done a panoramic shot, I have never seen so many items in one place. Every car, ride on toy, multiple swing sets, slides, sandboxes, you name it, it was there.
After running around like mad women, we bought some local carrots and fed the bunnies. The sky were looking a little threatening, and the lack of nap for someone was also starting to show.
Can't wait for fall. They will open their big corn maze in the back and hopefully they will have some great pumpkins for picking. Will have to get our apple picking in earlier this year, so I can get everything done and canned and made before baby sister arrives. Who knows if we will have time when she gets here. lol. We are already taking bets on whether I will be in the hospital for thanksgiving. Only because it's my favourite season/holiday do I think that is when she'll make her appearance. lol. Hopefully we get a fair or two in.
