Month 31

Time just keeps creeping by. Somehow it's already the beginning of August. The 31 month post is a wee bit late. But we've busy. Playing outside, visiting, going to the pool and working. While we were in St Williams, Gramma Sue bought Audra a kite. It was hilarious watching her and Jamie. She didn't really care that it was flying off the ground. She kept grabbing the tail and running the opposite way of the kite and Jamie trying to fly it. We were all in stitches laughing.

Grammy and Papa's house has a bigger pool now, so you love to share and have everyone swim with you. You are so funny, like a fish in water. We are going to look into swimming lessons for you in the fall. You love the water so much. If only Aunt Charlotte had a bigger pool, she would be a fantastic teacher.

Love your rockstar pose! "Yeah, I'm cool, and I know it!"
We did fireworks for Canada Day, and even though you have "seen" fireworks before, this was really, your first time. You were quite amazed and were oohhing and aahhing like the rest of us. Yay for not being scared.
That hair of yours just keeps on getting longer and longer and longer. You look so old in this picture. So big. Big sister and baby sister are your new favourite things to say. You point to my ever growing belly and say baby sista in belly. Baby sista sleep in crib. Share Daisy with Baby sista. Sure! Its so cute, but I think you really don't have any idea as to what's coming. That's fine, we'll adjust, we always do.
You are at that attention seeking age, and doing my best to make sure you get lots before our attention has to be divided.
We took you to your first movie last week and you survived much better then we thought you would. Silvercity plays older movies for $3 on Saturday mornings. Last week was the Curious George movie, which you have seen and love, so we figured you would be content with the movie. You sat in the little booster with your popcorn and drink. Loving it. When the lights dimmed, you weren't sure what was going on, but once the movie started, you were good for at least an hour.  That was about the time all the kids in the theater started getting restless. We will definitely take you to another.

The next two months will be interesting. You will go from being the only child, to the big sister. Not so much my baby anymore. But a little girl. Still hard for this momma somedays. Hard to believe. Lots of just Audra time coming up though, by the looks of it, will be off, trying to heal this ankle.
