A couple of Sundays ago, we went apple picking. There is a great family farm up in Waterdown, Fruitigo's, and they were one of the only orchards we were able to pick more then one or two varieties of apples. The frost we had in the spring really damaged a lot of crops this year, so apple picking was a little sparse. This was our go to farm anyway, so it all worked out well.
They have a great playground so Audra tore around there for awhile.
Then it was on to the actual picking, or in Audra`s case, eating. She ate quite a few that day!
Kat and Paul met us at the farm for some picking as well. It was nice having Paul and his height to reach those high apples!
It was a fun morning. Lots of apples, and lots of goodies made with those apples. Our last outing as a family of three!
