Crafting Lately...

Well the sewing machine is fixed and back in action. Which means it's high time to finish Audra's quilt that I started a million years ago. It's made with scraps that I had leftover when I made Eleanor's quilt. So the two have somewhat matching, but different, quilts for their room.
The back is done in contrasting pinks and a strip of charm squares that I used in the front.
It's far from perfect, but not bad for only being a few quilts in. My quilting has gotten better and as much as I grumble and complain about ironing, it definitely makes a difference. lol
A new little purse/pouch to match my bridesmaid dress for my brothers wedding. I bought the pattern from Michelle Patterns, and I love them. She writes them really well, they are easy to follow and always make a good item.

And because I don't have enough cross stitch patterns to finish, I couldn't resist starting my summer sampler. It had this little firework guy on the 4th, but being Canadian, I switched it around and made it on the 1st, for Canada Day, and changed the colours of the firework. It even got a mention on facebook. Love the Frosted Pumpkin girls! (and love all their patterns)

And a little scrapbooking for Father's Day. My plan was to take the picture of the girls with the belt and then add the little mini wrestling belt to the shadow box. Well Michael's didn't have the big fat ones, and had to alter my plan a bit. He liked it so that's all that matters. Also made him a mug with him and the girls.

Nice to be able to have some time again to myself, a sewing machine that works, and be back into crafting, sewing mode. Now to attack all those projects I have listed and make myself and the girls some clothes, and many other things I have pinned and listed!
